The Kabir is a classic button up shirt made for everyday wear. A wardrobe staple, its handwoven and naturally dyed fabric lends itself to a relaxed look and feel. With a standard fit, an updated spread collar and hand-carved buttons. We used a selvedge edge finish throughout which enhances the uniqueness of this item.

For selvedge lovers, this shirt is a real treat. From the outside, the shirt looks the same, but we re-engineered its interior to enhance the use of a selvedge finish throughout. Cleverly designed, the back pleat now highlights the selvedge. We have also used it on the inner cuff panels and button placket to offer additional subtle design details. Our side seam gussets at the hem give the garment long-lasting durability. The subtle selvedge use and considered bone button hardware enhances the overall style.

MATERIALS  PROCESS
The cotton yarn spinning, dyeing and weaving all are done within a 100 mile radius in Gujarart, India. The fibers were naturally dyed and the chambray fabric was handwoven on a traditional foot pedal loom. The resulting silky hand feel has a soft, textured finish with unique slubs and depth of color. Produced using sustainable practices that help improve the livelihoods and welfare of our artisan community makers and reduce the impact on the environment.
