Meet the generously sized scarf inspired by our Julahas Community Member Amber Bessette; one that is just as much about style as it is about impact. This leaf design won our #designmyjulahas contest in 2024 and we are thrilled to bring this into production. Handwoven by artisans in West Bengal, and block printed in Jaipur, our statement scarves add vibrancy and colour to your look.

Design Details 

Your Double Muslin Scarf is designed by Amber Bessette for Julahas. Each piece is handwoven on a traditional wooden loom in small batches by artisans from West Bengal and printed in small batches by artisans in Jaipur. 

Size  Material

• One (handy) size. 100cm x 200cm

• Material: 100% Double Muslin Cotton.
• Handwash in cold water, only if needed. We recommend hanging your Scarf in fresh air by an open window (when the weather is dry) so that the odours go away. Do not Tumble Dry. Lay flat to dry and store folded in the tote bag provided. Use your bag as a shopper when you're wearing your scarf. Dry clean friendly too.

One for One

For every purchase you make, we plant a tree in your name. We send you a digital e-Tree Certificate with a link to a location marker showing where the tree was planted.

With our One for One model, in partnership with social enterprise Grow-Trees, we address community, women and nature. Tree planting generates employment for the village women, regulates the climate while improving the soil quality, which benefits farming communities.
